Ceramic exhibition "Slugs and Rabbits"

Two artists come together at a contemporary ceramic art exhibition in the heart of Tallinn; two types of magical creature, two perspectives…..one vision.

Jana Zgun and Tanya Vorozhun create unique worlds from clay, porcelain, fire and fantasy. Their ambition is to find beauty in the most unexpected places and to show its subtlety with ingenuity and finesse.

Jana’s pieces are an ode to beauty in its most unusual manifestations. The secret, graceful, rhythms of nature move within them; slugs crawl, wriggle and play. Tanya’s rabbits are certainly kind creatures, they have wings and to some may seem like angels. These rabbits are definitely strong and know how to stand up for themselves; having passed through the fire of the furnaces, they are the guardians of their world. Both gentle and determined.

The two artists find inspiration in nature, interpreting its energy in their own way. Tanya and Jana open up an amazing universe inhabited by fantastical creatures and plants, and invite us to see the inner light that they radiate.
